DAY 225

Apr 14

1) Today has been a nice, long day in the library. I forgot to buy bread yesterday, so I opened up my one remaining packet of "Maggi Mee" or instant noodles, for breakfast. It tasted great after such a long time not having it. Afterwards, it was off to the library, where I've remained since.

2) The morning and afternoon was all about the Fundamentals of Biomedicine (FUN2) module. There aren't many lectures on this module, but boy oh boy some of the lecture slides number to the hundreds! It's really very densely packed, and a lot of memorising to be done... Fortunately, a quick afternoon nap helped me to refocus.

3) In the evening, I took some time off to go to Dunnes, to get that loaf of bread. Returned to the Mercer Cafe for dinner. After that, it was one last round of study, before I decided to call it a day. Had a light supper before packing my stuff and returning home. Here's counting down nine days till our first exam, the OSCEs. That would be my day today, and thanks for reading about it. Have a great day, cheers!

Easter is fast approaching (Dunnes Stores)

DAY 127

Jan 6

1) Today has been quite a hectic day for me. Woke up super early, in order to get ready to meet my friends (Esther, Khee Heng, Jason, Melissa, Melvin) at Mercer by 8.00am sharp. From there, we topped up our leap card, before walking all the way to Talbot St where we took the 31A bus to Howth. Got down at the pier, and it was raining! What a way to start the day haha.

2) Walked around the pier, at the Howth Lighthouse, and took lots of pics, including Martello Tower and Ireland's Eye. After that, we continued walking to Howth Market, which unfortunately only opens on Saturdays and Sundays. Passed the Howth DART Station, plus some cafes and restaurants, including the famous Beshoffs. However, we decided to have lunch at another restaurant.

3) After an aweseome lunch, we went for the coastal walk, which was essentially a tour around the perimeter of the island. At first we took the purple route (called the Bog of Frogs loop) but had to give up halfway as the rain was getting really heavy. At least we reached the Summit and took some pics of the Baily Lighthouse. Turned inwards, and passed along The Summit Inn, as walked towards the bus stop at St. Mary's Abbey. Took the next bus back to Dublin 1 and returned to Mercer Library.

4) I spent the afternoon at the library, before going to Esther's apartment to have Maggi mee and fried beef and veggies for dinner. My friends went for seconds at McDonald's soon after, while I returned to the library to type this out. I will be leaving for home soon, because I plan to batch cook for the next couple of days. And on that note, I bid you goodnight. Thanks for reading as always, and have a great day. Cheers!

P.S. LOADS OF PICS, KEEP SCROLLING DOWN & ENJOY ^^
