DAY 56

Oct 27

1) Today was another routine day. Woke up to have bran flakes for breakfast, before trying to study for a while. My roommate had gone for a trip, leaving the room all to myself. So just continued reading the lecture notes, trying to cram as much information as I could into my brain before our next quiz...

2) Lunch time! Decided that Dicey's would be my stop for lunch today, so went there and had the beef lasagna. It tasted sooooo good! I think it's the quality of beef that they used, but it was really a pleasure to dig into. The thing I like about Dicey's is they change the menu everyday, with different combinations and options for sides etc. That makes it my go to place when I'm at a loss of what to eat.

3) Came back in the afternoon to message some of my friends back home. It's really nice to keep in touch with them and just chat for old time's sake. Before I knew it, it was evening and I went down to prepare dinner. Opened up the new pack of farfalle pasta, and it actually tasted quite good! Would be trying out different recipes with it in the future.

4) Anyways, finished dinner and came up to study, again... Then I remembered I haven't done my blog for today so here I am, typing this as I contemplate what to read up on next. That's all for tonight, and as usual, thanks very much for reading. Goodnight!

DAY 49

Oct 20

1) Today was a full day for me. We had classes from 8a.m., so hurriedly had my breakfast before getting ready for class. Two lectures later, and it was time for lunch. Every student's favourite time of the day, apart from finishing time.

2) Went to AK. Henry's for my customary sandwich, but opted today for a baguette. I asked the server for extra fries, and he very generously piled them on for me. Service is top-notch over here hehe. Then it was two more lectures, including a small group tutorial at the Nightingale Lecture Theatre.

3) After lessons ended, I went directly to the Malaysian Hall to help my friends who were cooking for the PMCSA Sports Day event tomorrow, held in University College Dublin. I helped cut dice the carrots, while my friends chopped garlic and cooked rice together. More volunteers turned up later on.

4) At around 5pm, I decided to take a rest and came back to my apartment. Cooked some frozen stuffed mushrooms that I bought at Tesco for dinner. Turned out really great! Went to get the laundry done, and came back to type this out. I'm going out again for tennis practice at RCSI, since I will be representing for tennis tomorrow at UCD. That's all for tonight, and thanks for reading. Cheers!

DAY 44

Oct 15

1) Today was a long day for me. Woke up to have breakfast, before trying to study. Covered some chapters by afternoon, before deciding to pay Boojum a visit.

2) Lunch at Boojum was great. I ordered the burrito bowl which cost me €6.00, but was really filling. Afterward, I went to Tesco Baggot to get my groceries for the week.

3) Came back to have a short nap, before continuing my studies for a bit. Then I went down to prepare food for dinner. Today's special was spaghetti with mince meat in tomato sauce. Tasted really good on a cold day like this.

4) I couldn't bear the noise in my room, so I came over to Mercer, where I am studying at my friends' apartment. Will be done soon, then I'll walk back home to my apartment, for a good night's rest. That's been the gist of my day, and while not the most interesting, I hope things will get sorted out soon. Goodnight!

Big bowl of cereal to start the day!
